SF6 Gas Insulation AC Test Transformer

YDSW series encapsulated SF6 gas insulation AC test transformers are especially designed for factory test of metal-clad switchgear (GIS). These transformers can be flanged directly to GIS, they make testing of such installations possible without feeding them through an air-SF6 bushing.

In the factory, these transformers allow to test sub-assemblies and components directly in the manufacturing line, thus avoiding transportation to a central test facility, and extra handling.

Compared to conventional oil insulation AC test systems, they are lighter and smaller, only about 1/6 height and 1/7 weight, also the merits of encapsulation remain effective during tests which is essential for PD testing.

Cylinder Module type AC Resonant Test System with Variable Inductance

AC Resonant Test System with Variable Inductance

IRST series AC resonant test systems use cylinder module type variable inductance HV reactors, which are of oil insulation and epoxy glass-fiber insulating shell, stackable module type allows higher output voltage, up to 2000kV.

These systems vary the reactor inductance to create resonant circuit with load capacitance in power frequency, when get in resonance, they output continuous AC voltage of power frequency (mainly 50 or 60Hz, matches feed-in mains) for testing.

FIVG series impulse voltage test systems are mainly used to generate standard lightning impulse (LI), full or chopped waves, switching impulse (SI) wave, impulse voltage ranges from 10kV to 7200kV (LI 7200kV, SI 5000kV), energy from 2.5kJ to 720kJ. Also it can be used to carry out steeping and oscillating impulse test by adding some extra equipment.

We offer various kinds of structure design for impulse voltage generator, inclusive of L type, G type, H type, V type and etc.

Variable Frequency Resonant Test Systems

FRST series AC resonant test system use cylinder module type HV reactors with fixed inductance, which are of oil insulation and epoxy glass-fiber insulating shell, these reactors can be used in parallel for higher current, or in series for higher voltage (up to 2400kV).

These systems vary the frequency of power supply to create resonant circuit with load capacitance and fixed inductance of reactors, then output pure sine wave AC voltage for testing, typical test frequency range is 20~300Hz.

MRST-T series mobile AC resonant test systems are of cylinder module type, epoxy glass-fiber insulating shell and oil insulation, all components are designed to store in a mobile trailer, facilitate the transportation to different test site, then you can set up the test system on site by crane (if needed) for test.

MYDS series encapsulated SF6 gas insulation HV AC voltage test systems are specially designed for the on-site test of GIS/AIS, all components are mounted on truck / trailer, and equip with hydraulic lifting device, these systems can be pulled up for test and back after test automatically, no need help of additional crane or similar equipment, easy to store, transport and test.

These systems step up the voltage coming from the regulating transformer. The controls act on the regulating transformer to adjust precisely the input voltage of the transformer and thus the test voltage. Also if needed, these systems are available for AC resonant test system with variable frequency or inductance.
