    Model:FRST-M
    Voltage Range:50 – 2400kV
    Output Frequency:20 – 300H

    Description

Variable frequency HVAC resonant test systems operate in a frequency range from 20Hz to 300Hz, ideal for field commissioning test of power cables and GIS/GIL according to IEC, and test object is connected to the test system using a flexible high-voltage connection.

The high-voltage reactor is fixed inductance, form resonance with capacitive test load by frequency converter power supply, and provide undistorted sinusoidal AC resonance test power. It features a modular design, oil insulation and cylinder insulated shell.

The test system is mounted on the trailer, and facilitate to be transported to field for testing.

As part of a series resonant circuit, these systems provide undistorted AC high voltage. And because the systems are designed to have high quality factor (Q), low input power is required (1/Q) which results in lower installation and operating costs.

    Application

    Main applications:
For withstand voltage testing on transformers after they are installed on-site and for purposes of diagnostics in asset management according to IEC 60076-3.
For withstand voltage tests on XLPE cables once laid on-site (after installation) according to IEC 60840 and IEC 62067.
For testing of withstand voltage at GIS once installed on-site according to IEC 60517 and IEC 62271-203.
